Dr. Anagnostou is Professor of Pediatrics, in the Allergy & Immunology Division, at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She serves as Director of Allergy and Food Therapeutics. She is also Lead for the Adolescent Transition Program for Allergy. Dr Anagnostou is passionate about investigating new and innovative therapies for food allergy. She is the PI for multiple research trials on food allergy therapy and anaphylaxis. She is also leading research projects on food allergy prevention, food-induced anaphylaxis, the microbiome and shared decision-making. Dr Anagnostou serves as the Chair of the Food Allergy Committee at the ACAAI. She has previously served as the Chair of the Adverse Reactions to Foods Committee at the AAAAI.

Russell Settipane, MD, co-director of the Allergy and Asthma Centers in East Providence, Rhode Island, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His allergy and immunology fellowship was completed at Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation in La Jolla, CA. He has participated in over 100 clinical trials and has authored more than 150 scientific articles, reviews, and book chapters in the field of allergy & immunology. He holds hospital staff appointments at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center, in Madison and Waukesha Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He worked as a pediatric intensive care physician for 17 years at St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center. He has been active in resident education and was an Assistant professor of Family Practice and pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin for over 30 years. He serves as a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology; the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; and the American Thoracic Society. Dr. Bukstein is considered a national expert in using clinical outcomes for managed care. He has had numerous articles published in peer-reviewed journals, including The American Journal of Managed Care, Allergy, Pediatrics, and Journal of Clinical Outcomes Management. He also gives approximately 50 presentations annually at national and international meetings. These presentations have focused on allergic disease, asthma, quality of life, health outcomes and telemedicine.

Matthew Greenhawt, MD, MBA, MSc, is the chief medical officer for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America, having most recently served as a professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Allergy and Immunology at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO. Dr. Greenhawt earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He then completed his residency in pediatrics at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, NY and his fellowship in allergy/immunology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He also holds an MBA from Tufts University and a MSc degree in health and healthcare policy from the University of Michigan, Rackham School of Graduate Studies. Dr. Greenhawt is board certified in pediatrics and allergy/immunology.
Dr. Greenhawt’s research interests include shared decision-making, cost-effectiveness and comparative effectiveness research, outcomes and health services research, prevention and treatment, and public policy related to food allergy, anaphylaxis, and allergic diseases. He has served as an investigator on numerous industry, advocacy, and NIH-funded studies.
Dr Greenhawt has authored over 360 peer-reviewed articles, in addition to numerous abstracts and book chapters. He is the senior associate editor for the Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and recently completed a 10-year term as a member of the Joint Taskforce of Allergy Practice Parameters. Dr. Greenhawt involved with many committees, including the Brighton Collaboration Criteria Vaccine Anaphylaxis Case Definition 2.0 work group, multiple AAAAI and EAACI committees, and is the former chair of the ACAAI Food Allergy Committee.
